Black&White Crete

In addition to the “Beautiful people of Anogia” i decided that it is not right to speak only about the people and not to show the beauty of the whole Crete – endless seascapes, old narrow streets, white churches and relaxing mood and feeling of vacation.

  1. Georgette and I spent a week on Crete back in October 2003. Your photos are good representations of the Crete of my memory, at least in the romantic sense. The one thing you don’t show are the half finished homes we saw everywhere. The highlight for us was a day-long trek through the Samaria Gorge, along with a couple of hundred fellow tourists. The beer I had at the end of our trek never tasted better!
