Ethiopia – people, animals and transport (part ii)

due to an astonishing popularity of the first part, i continue with my pseudo-travel posts of my accomplished more than year and half ago trip to Ethiopia. i traveled with a small team shooted remaining visuals for the documentary movie “The Jerusalem Dream” by Israely cinematographer Meni Elias. and you’re guessing right – this theme will be continued.

enjoy the diversity..

  1. Congratulations on another stunning set of images, Victor. It was interesting to see more of the vegetation in these, and also some of the neighborhoods. In an odd way those images reminded me of Peru, where I spent part of my childhood. So much poverty, but in spite of it so much beauty …

      1. I hope you have the opportunity someday to visit Peru, Victor. It has everything: beaches, deserts, mountains, and jungles! Plus the kindest, most beautiful people you will ever encounter.

  2. Great set of shots again…I feel a bit sad though for some of the animals having to carry such amazingly heavy loads like that donkey pulling hole trees. The photography top notch, as always

    1. thank you Paula ! i fully understand you but you can find – maybe i will post these images in my next posts, that also people are carrying too heavy things sometimes. thank you again !

  3. Really great job! I am Ethiopian studying in another country, but now I am feeling like am at home. Waw photo speaks.

    1. Hey Gelan. I loved your country so much and hope to return back there for a more serious trip. You can find much more from my visit in my bkog posts just go to the Ethiopia category. Thank you very much !

  4. Victor ~ these images are from your eyes and soul as the late Jim Morrison would say ! The eyes are the windows to ones soul ! You shoot what you see and we all can feel what you see . At least that is how I feel . I journey with you my friend and what a magnificent adventure . More, more more !!!

  5. Some really wonderful color shots Victor! I didn’t know I missed this one, great images and story telling. Someone please feed those poor cows!!
