the land of colorful Umbrellas – Ethiopia

A year has passed since my Ethiopia visit. much has been said about this visit, many photo stories posted and i still have big amount of material unedited.
today my post dedicated to a colorful umbrellas which came across to me at every my step. a few years ago i was in inexplicable love to umbrellas – i was ready to shoot umbrellas in every situation and time of a day. possible because that umbrellas are very rare in my country and they are relevant only during very short period of winter. this love has gone some time ago but reminded of itself during this visit.
all possible forms and colors, simple and elegant, for every age and every gender.

enjoy the colors..

  1. Great series..I always think how amusing that we lilly whites do our best to burn to an elegant brown, those fortunate to already possess this hue, do their utmost to be lilly white!! It is a wonderful world indeed and beautifully portrayed by you.

  2. The other side of an umbrella.. Designed to keep humans dry on rainy days, the roots when they were meant to be to give shadow on days hot and sunny. Indeed colourful, very.! It’s gorgeous.

  3. wonderful idea to group these photos together, Victor what a colorful way to give a glimpse into the local daily life of Ethiopians… 🙂

  4. A very interesting photo series with an unusual but great motif that is exploited well. Btw, thank you for liking some of my pics recently. I look forward to seeing more or yours. Best regards.

        1. Tell me about Sam. I’m too busy with my job all last time but trying to find free time also for photography mostly at weekends or night time. And also to stay with one post per week.
