A short story about the perfect imperfection.

As i promised, it didn’t take much time between posts. I will try to continue in the same spirit, especially because I have a lot to publish.

Today my “story” about the wonderful, but a little bit “painful” adventure, which I had to go through with a new for me camera the Ricoh FF-3. Somehow i ruined the 4th roll, which i exposed with this camera. I literally additionally EXPOSED it to the sunlight. It’s not too interesting story how it’s happened, so I’ll skip it for your benefit, to make long way shorter.

But, a few frames turned out to be simply stunning (by my opinion), so one of the shots – the first one in this series, i put to my Instagram gallery and asked in the description if “anyone want to use it for an album cover?” A few words about the photographed moment. I took the camera for a walk in the fields and put my attention on a flock of wild pigeons grazing in a wheat field. It took me half of second to decide how can i sneak up on them and to raise them all into the air. You can see the result, just a little bit burned.

Just in a few day i got a PM from my friend Alexander Krivinski, didgeridoo player and drummer, about my “offer” to use this image as an album cover for their new album coming out very soon. So, now the exciting news – the album “Shaman Monk” of the stoner band “Ze Stoner” is now live and available on all music social media sites.

    1. Thank you Sam. BTW. when i was looking for information about this camera, i found your blog about your try of the last, and your not positive feeling about 😉 I think that it’s nice to get another try if you still have this FF-3. I also wrote a comment in your post about 😉
