Three hot days in Eilat – the analogue ecstasy.(p1)

 

Hello there, my friends. Today is my part one photostory is about a three days and two nights trip to the Israeli kind of “Dubai/Las Vegas/Karlovy Vary” local style of time-spending in the most southern point of the country – city Eilat. Well, i’m sure this city is absolutely different from these three, but the concept is same – people are coming there with the same idea – to disconnect from the harsh reality of the daily routine and to enjoy this located far resort.

Not really my kind of time spending, but when my camera is with me, and i have enough time to stay alone and go whenever my legs (and eyes) are taking me, i’m ok with every location, even, boring like hell one. The very hot, around 40C days, are changing also hot, but full of alcohol and music nights. People say – What happens in Eilat, stays in Eilat. It’s so right about everything happened there, but not about my photographs, taken during long walks on the hot sands of the Eilat’s beaches. In my plans also was a short trip to the Red Mountains, located on the border between Israel and Egypt, but i was too short in time for this.

For these who is interesting to know the technical part behind this series – this time i used the only Yashica T2 point and shot camera with HP5 400 Retro pack film and developed it in Ilfotec HC 1+47 solution during 9 min.
