Geneva with a minimum of gear – my after-trip notes (part i)..

Bonjour my friends. This is the right time for the pseudo-travel photography post. I use this “pseudo” prefix for my after-trip notes, bcos the images from my trips are not really travel oriented, somehow they look for me just as a natural continuation of the images of my everyday life here in Israel, and often it’s definitely impossible to recognize which one is taken aboard and which one in my country.

My decision to flight to Geneva was spontaneous as usual. I found very nice and not inexpensive direct flights from Tel Aviv to Geneva and back. My good friend – great life and street photographer Jeremy proposed his help to get the city life more fast. Sounds like i had a plan.

When i got off the plane, i felt lucky – the weather was around 18C, sunny and absolutely nice for the outdoor activity – i walked and learned the city with my feet and tried to get lost 🙂 During two additional cold and rainy days i felt myself lucky as well – i loved this extreme condition of weather and shiny wet streets. And about another kind of surprise – during my first visit in 2013 (oh my – 5 years already have passed since this visit) i found this city a little bit boring and “dry” in emotions and expressions in terms of urbanity and feeling of the city life. This time everything was much more happy and noisy sometimes as it possible in the Classic Geneva citizens lifestyle.

Welcome to the first series of images – i start it less or more in chronological order but not sure how long i will continue this order, possible just will go with the thematic series – i still don’t knowת נוא have a lot to show. I prefer to stay with these short-medium series of 12-15 images and not to flood you with a big amount of information.

Next time we will spoke about the gear i used during this trip.

Here is MY Geneva :
