Minor changes or heavy transmutation of the whole year of dealing with COVID-19.
I wanted to write in the post title – “the new normal”, but decided to make it more screaming because I can’t call these changes “normal” even they relentlessly become “normal” no matter how much this situation irritates me.
We are almost a whole year in this shit of panics, hysteria, uncertainties, and kinda “knowing” everything about everything – an expression of displeasure, hatred, getting used to this chirurgical mask, finding some more fashioned but in finding it even more ugly, searching for the guilty and conspiration in everything that already happened and happening right now, waiting for the vaccine and now looking for all the possible reasons why to not agreed to get it, reading about vitamines and reading about vaccines, getting used to staying far from people when talking, not hugging, not kissing, an understanding of what was said behind the mask, learning to talk loudly, and do not be offended when you have not been understood after three repetitions of the phrase, eating alone, eating outside (actually not too bad new feature), more home cooking (same positive effect of more healthy food), fewer shoppings (haha, I never was a fan of this time and a money spending), lower salary and less daily spending on nothing, loss of confidence in politicians, loss of confidence in goverments, loss of confidence in the police, loss of confidence in every kind of authorities, loss of confidence in WHO, no parties, no cinemas, no ART , no culture, and no HOPE.

This plastic submarine is one of the iconic signs of the anti currupted Israeli govermant massive protests.
The Hero of Israel statue – is also another iconic sign was placed for the whole month at the Rabin Square in front of the Tel Aviv City Hall.
Stay safe.

Yes, who would have thought this would come our ways…The pain and sadness …so many dead all over everywhere., we are not safe yet, at all. Marvellous documentary…

Yes, it’s a sad state of affairs around the world. I am lucky to still go to work at the moment. We’ll see what future brings but we must remain hopeful and adapt.
Is that statue only there for 1 month or they’ll keep it there? For Israeli soldiers?

About this statue. In the middle of summer 2020 during the Balfour protests in Jerusalem, police flooded with water from their cannons the young protesters decided not to leave the main place of the protest – The Paris square not too far from the PM living place. There is some iconic image of Nimrod Gross who is standing on one knee and the Israeli flag in his hands. A few months after this Israeli artist Itay Zalait made a statue of Nimrod that widely displaying the Israeli HERO not known and not needed to the whole nation. He brought this 4 ton heavy statue to the place where the incident as many others took a place and got a permission from city authorities to have it exposed there two days. Police just come in the middle of the first night and took the statue away. But. in a few days with the help of advocates Itay got back his hero and got permission to expose it in the Rabin square for one month and after this to move it to different cities where the authorities will agree for this action. this is the story. Not about soldiers and not about corrupted police bit about regular and very modest ppl – our hope and the future. Ohhh Victor You nailed us with your great documentary shots and shots… Indeed I think I have learned more about simplicity , share an items . I work at retail store.. Back in March was awful to see those greedy people. Grab10 hand sanitizers.. It was so sad to see ugliness .. I saw the real ugliness with own my eyes. I am sure you did too.

Hey Naomi ! thank you for visiting and for the kind words. Due to the non stop work all this time, instead of many ppl staying at home during months i was able to move between places, to see what is happening with my own eyes and to compare how ugly our social and political situation just day by day. Grab 10 sanitizers and tons of toilet papper. Haha it was funny and sad to see all this as many other situations of the people to people ignorance that has increased in size together with the bubbles of rumors. great documentary Victor, we all suffer in this unusual and crazy times, it’s understandable to lose hope, but I think we must keep up hope✌️stay safe and healthy!
