Crazy mix – Rodinal and HC110 in one cocktail p3.
Good evening – Добрый вечер – ערב טוב – Buenas noches – Добрий вечір – Қайырлы кеш !!! Today is Rosh Hashanah – the Jewish New Year and to my dismay, it fell on a weekend, so there is only one additional day off. I don’t particularly celebrate any holidays, but I actively use weekends. So it always annoys me when holidays get eaten up by the weekend. Especially when i know that someone schedules holidays based on the phases of the moon. That’s even more irritating.
With this post i finish the series of images photographed with Nikonos-V and developed with the mix of Rodinal and HC110 developers. For more details please visit the first post of this series.
While writing this post, I’ve already been distracted a few times by the kitchen, where the red kidney bean purée is cooking. I do not eat meat products, so my high-protein “diet” requires constant creativity on my part. Actually I’m very good in terms of distractions. I did a lot of stuff from the time when decided that i have to publish my next post. An hour of daily exercise, two hours of playing the didgeridoo, an hour-long bike ride through the village where I live, and a bit of gardening. Some kind of a lot of nothing and a lot of everything.
Now about photography. I recently came across a very interesting post by Danielle Milnor. This post, like many others he has written, deeply touched me. There is much in common between his perception and mine attitudes regarding what is happening in the world of photography today. Some of the thoughts he wrote down seemed to me to have come straight from my own tongue. But very often I feel that my tongue is too stiff to properly express my thoughts, especially in English. This week, one of my relatives asked me if I was still taking photographs. It was very strange question. Last week we met twice during the during the funeral of my uncle – his grandfather. I took photographs during the ceremony at the cemetery. I couldn’t stop myself — it is far greater than me and independent of my location. Most of those present didn’t notice my camera. But i captured a few moments. Just for me and probably for the family’s history. Call me crazy – i don’t care. As i said – it is bigger than me and I could hardly control myself or the situation. And i always have my camera with me even during the funeral ceremony. And the situation was grotesque, like a staged scene for some dark comedy. But this is absolutely different story.
Yes, for some reason, some people have formed the impression that I’ve stopped taking photographs. And they definitely don’t have any idea about this blog site, which i never stopped updating with my works. And a link to every new post here i immediately put to my FB photography page – historically i have one, which i started some 15-16 years ago, when i still dreamed about plan B of my life.
BTW. Writing this text was aided by the strong and tasty local IPA beer and the online radio station Krautrock World, which streams amazing Krautrock music from the 60s and 70s non-stop.

Check my recent YT short video of me playing didgeridoo:

Oh Victor! שנה טובה!! and sorry for your loss.

As for me i kinda lost my inspiration due to my life changing i know that’s not good excuse.. i have lost my confidence as well . Hopefully i will get back on photography hopefully..
