rainy days for photography – ii (using long 135mm lens)

nothing new to write. same night scenes, same wet streets, same lonely pedestrians, same night lights doubled by reflections. when i reviewed these images today i got the deep feeling of melancholy and repeatability – again winter, again rain, again puddles and cold wind. some stranger will ask me again – “why”. “because” – as usual i will answer him or her.

enjoy another rainy night

  1. How do you deal with the rain ? I wouldn’t dare bring my camera outside. I took a wintertime course once and nearly broke my camera slipping on the ice. I could have cut a wire inside but luckily it was not hurt and I had to tape the camera closed…

    1. Hey Jen. I use umbrella. I don’t shoot when there is a direct rain. Some drops here and there can scary me. But i always hold the camera very well even when the weather is dry and sunny

      1. Hi Victor! Yes, many!! Just super busy this week with all the Christmas rush and coming off a cold. I found the late nights writing this blog was just knocking me out! Hope to get them out soon. Thanks for your comments and love your latest work!

  2. I don’t think there is melancholy in these photos, they are full of life and you’ve captured it so well…
this set in particular made me realize I have no idea how to shoot silhouettes… I need to try this!! thank you 🙂
