Why I love night photography, and why you should too (part v) with Ricoh GRii

The best time to write a post about night photography is night time. Bcos you at this exactly hours we belong to the same vibes as when we took these moody pictures.

Well, I did not do it. I was too busy at night, but want to finish the post today and yesterday selected and edited all the images I want to share with you. All the images of this post I photographed with Ricoh GRii small and lovely pocket monster that I purchased for the nice price at eBay one year ago and don’t remember a day when I left my house without it.
I bought it when the air was already vibrating by the loud rumors about the arriving GRiii. My idea was to try this for a lower price, already to have photos, expiration, to get used to it and with a time to sell it and to get this newcomer. Right now I left this idea aside and lost this interest to have the GRiii, but this will be the theme of one of my next posts.

And now i return to the main theme of this post. Night Photography. I ruined in love with this extremely interesting “genre” from my first days of using cameras. My first cameras were simple and dumb, but I always was very curious about how to continue my hobby also during the night hours. I wrote about this many time, in numerous posts, but all of them were about using by Canon 5dMKii with different fast lenses – 50mm and 35mm F/1.4. But Ricoh is much more limited – it’s lens is only F/2.8, but it’s wide-angle 28mm so, I can reduce my shutter speed to 1/25-60 without any problem just some motion will be more visible and blurred, but this doesn’t scare me – contrariwise, I really love to add some blurred motion and a life to the photographed night scenes.

This post contains a little bit more images, in contrast to most of my other posts, and I hope you will forgive me this photo flooding. As usual, I have too many plans and series to posts, so I’m really afraid to miss something. I will write the EXIF info of every below every image just to let you some additional info about my settings. I just forget to say that I used a built-in camera flash in some of the images below, so everything is written down to the info as said.
