Why I love night photography, and why you should too. (part vi) with Ricoh GRii.

As usual, i don’t prepare drafts for my next blog posts. I write them very spontaneously and directly here – in the WordPress code editor, use Grammarly eliminate grammar errors I do during the fast typing, choose appropriate works for the theme of this post and press the Publish button. I always wanted to plan my post, to write the texts during a week before posting, but my plans remain the plans, and I hope you’re don’t mind because today I have more to show than to say 🙂

Today i decided to return back ( forward? ) to this “old series” containing already 5 posts, I’m talking about night photography. This kind of walk during late evening and night hours is usual for me and I never stopped doing this. I find that taking pictures at the night streets relaxing me after the long workdays, although of course there is always a place for extreme moments. But mostly nightside streets and alleys are very quiet.

  1. Awww so many great shots use of lighting & shadows are indeed beautiful & peaceful..
    Even a cat seems happy 😃 🖤🖤

  2. I’m in a similar position as you concerning planning blog posts ahead. I can’t quite master it and although sometimes I get to write a quick draft or just note an idea, most of my posts are also pretty spontaneous.
Night photography is a different world. Another type of magic with artificial light which can be beautiful as well. Lovely shots Victor!

    1. thank you Yuri.
during the corona isolation days i walked at nights much less. it was too tight even with my permission to go to work, still all the places were empty, and my mood also wasn’t to high for this. I photographed here and there, but a lot during a daylight period. Now i have some bunch of selected images i have to edit and to do with them something.

  3. love your night photography series, I’m rarely out at night and since the Coronavirus crisis I wasn’t out in the city, but I’m planning to meet Ernst Wilhelm next weekend in Hamburg, should be fun… but still we have to take some precautions in this unusual times

    1. Thank you Christine. Glad to know that youre going to meet Ernst next week. Recently i watched some street photography vlogs from Hamburg and saw that there are people and there is what to shoot in the center of the city.
