An Amazing Urbex – the Heart of The Ugly City.

When I feel tired of people – I run to the periphery and nature, when I feel tired of the trees – I run to the ugly city streets. This wonderfully working loop is endless. Kinda Tik-Tok for me. Well, I still don’t have this OCD need for every 15-second changing virtual reality. I prefer a boring, long continuation and a feeling of deep dedication to things in my daily manner. I still find myself standing in front of some printed big pictures or windows and starring as hypnotized, examining the small details of the panoramas and cityscapes endlessly.

I have a confession. Really hate to say this, but i forced to become a weekend photographer. I still have two of my cameras with me everywhere. One small digital and one film camera, but I found myself less and less taking pictures during the workdays. This fact makes me crazy. But I have no free time for this – my day job is killing me. These images I photographed during a few walks in Tel Aviv. The last image is taken during the walk with my son Tom Bezrukov. We became photowalk partners and I love this new “activity” accompanied by the long conversations not connected to photography, sitting in bars with a coffee, and listening to the music in the car on our way home.

Additionally, I would like to say my huge “THANKS” to all friends and visitors, who grabbed a copy of my “Photo Zine” published a few months ago. I published this only $15 but high quality ZINE not for the sake of income, but as a big joy of sharing my photographed stuff tangibly and perceptibly, which is much more interesting than the tiny images flooding from the small screens of our smartphones. I keep the number of still available copies of the Zine unlimited. And the small profit I have from every purchased copy will help me to create another photo zine, and I already have a few ideas for the next one.

  1. The satellite dishes, the telephone poles (as we call them here in the US)… they’re a stark indication of how much reliance modernity has put in ethereal forms of communication.

    Cheers, Victor.

  2. These are 🔥🔥🔥 I really love them all. I think you are actually doing excellent. I know you are excellent photographer. What I meant was walking and taking photograph with your son Tom is most precious time. I also assume playing guitar🎸 together as well .

      1. Cold :):) and occasionally very windy . I don’t even go out for photographing. Too cold to hold camera ahahahaha
