Cinematheque – another round.
After the big popularity of photographs from the series “Cinematheque” i started the next round of the project.
I wrote a few posts about the idea of this project – “how to break the rules and to stay alive” and
“Cinematheque from a close distance” with the short explain of the techniques. This year i will try to bring some more moments and perspectives from streets, more colors and new ideas. These days street photography” stands on the TOP of popularity and possible to find “street photography” album in portfolio of almost every photographer and photography entuziast. Mainstream is one of the biggest killers of everything but i hope that Street Photography will survive and will stay most “truthful” and most unique.
Victor- I do believe that street photography can never be anything but the most truthful and unique photography it is if continued to be perfected in the honest way that you take your pictures. You do not seem to utilize special photographic software programs , as a matter of fact I have never heard you use anything. You develop much of your own film and that is complicated and an old time consuming love of the art. All of the new technology will grow old and when the wonder fades they will question how the techniques they do so easily were developed and discovered beautifully and clearly as a true street photographer with a good eye and your LUCK!!! Dawn Irene I really hope one day to own several of my favorites for my home viewing pleasure. I have never asked you before, but do you sell your prints? My trouble would be to pick my favorites.
