Hag Hahagim in Wadi Nisnas

Hag Hahagim in Wadi Nisnas

My visit of Hag Hagim fest in Wadi Nisnas, Haifa coincided with the first day of heavy rain and really winter weather. I was ready for anything with my umbrella and enjoyed to photograph happy people, who despite the weather come here to Wadi Nisnas to take part in the annual fest of the Holiday of different religious celebrated together. Most of events of festival were canceled due the surprisingly bad weather, but nobody can cancel the festive mood of the visitors and locals even with umbrellas in their hands. Enjoy the fest!

  1. Lots of great images here, which add up to an excellent portfolio ……… it’s a challenge to get good shots during heavy rainfall – and there is always the risk of water damage to one’s camera – but there are also scenes available not found during dry conditions, as you ably demonstrate here I deem you ready to photograph Vancouver, which is no stranger to heavy rainfall.

    1. thank you Derek ! you’re right about the weather condition – i’m so hysterical about the rain drops and to shoot near sea or something, but sometimes we have no other choice – only to go straight and to have what we have.. or not to take photos of something different !
anyway – everything is working well !

    1. Hi Axel ! thank you for taking a look ! this rain was exactly one week before the snow !
and snow has gone – sunny and not too cold ! I’m going to Eilat tomorrow !

    1. Thank you very much !
i used 50mm f/1.4 lens ( this is my favorite, almost always attached one) and Canon 135 prime lens.
