The natural story

The natural story is told through 50mm lens

I do feel like i have nothing to add to this photographic story that 50mm lens narrated. Every careless spoken word may only affect these moments in the wrong way and create a fake perception of happening or absolutely not happening here. Anyway, just in a few words.

It was one of the strange days, when the weather is in the middle between the two seasons, when the sky is not blue, the clouds are not enough low and deep and the shadow is not exist (what a disaster). But everything feels better when my 50mm friend take the storytelling into their own hands. It’s not too close and not too far from the subject. It returns the colors and worms the tones. It isolates so well, turns disadvantages into advantages.

And a few more words about this essay and my personal idea of this post. Every single image from this album looks and feels like very usual nature photographs with very small demonstration of the nature’s beauty, seasonal changes and human impact on the environment. With all photographs i tried to create the body of work that can tell us more.

  1. Vision is the storyteller. Not taking away from your post or photography, but I feel lenses and bodies are only a means to mediate the vision.

    1. You’re right ! body and lens are only helpers and our role is to know their works very well, no more.
actually you can find that i use this info about my gear with a piece of humor.

  2. I have observed also that a particular lens does not necessarily take a better photograph, but there is often one that is simply more comfortable or easier to use. I tend to use a 70mm, f2.4, prime lens for ~80% of my shooting (mostly street photography) simply because it is small, light and reasonable fast. This makes it more comfortable to carry and takes my mind off the gear and onto the subject. I think you have expressed a very similar view.

    1. Hi ! thank you for the feedback, very appreciated !
i’m agree with you – the gear is only gear and no more. actually i always talk about dedication to something limited and not to replace and to change the gear all the time. Know the sweet spot and possibilities is the best gear 🙂 be in touch !
