Art SIGMA 35mm F1.4 – image quality
As promised before in “Art SIGMA 35mm F1.4 – first day” post, last week i shoted with Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens in very different light conditions, only I was not tried to put it into a bucket with water. Actually it’s may be interesting idea about the real time photo reportage from the working microwave.
All images in this post corrected in Lightroom with minimal intervention. Lens flare, chromatic aberration and sometimes narrow tonal range are real and copyrighted to the lens.

Maybe the plastic lens has a scratch resistance lens coating like my glasses. This will make it lighter than glass.
I really love the way this album looks. You must be getting used to this lens .
My favorites are 2, 3 , 5 , 8, 9 … All are beautiful for different reasons.

I got usual to this lens and use it even often then my all time favorite 50mm. I loved the extra space that i can enter with 35mm. Thank you for taking your look !
Thanks, but I thank you too Victor! I usually live at 50mm too, but started venturing out wider. Your images stir up my imagination for what I could do with a 35mm f/1.4! Makes me want to use my 35mm Rokinon more often, but I like the Sigma because it has AF. And it got rave reviews.

i always use exposure compensation with this lens, may be i’m not a best sample – mostly i shot in extreme light condition otherwise i feel boring sometimes :-)) but again – i saw all the “WOW” reviews on inet – none of them was technically enough with the real tests or even none of them said about horrible lens cap that don’t want to stay on the lens. i sure that Sigma did good work so maybe i just should lower the plank cos it still just Sigma ? sounds sad 🙂
